Easy Come, Easy Go...

Meet the newest addition to
The Paisley Tab....it's the:
EASY COME, EASY GO HOBO BAG!
Just like the name says it, this "Easy-Come, Easy-Go" hobo - is simple, yet special because it's created with vintage fabric(oooh....ahh)
This purse has a convenient snap front closure and brown strap for those who love to go "hands-free". Exterior is vintage floral fabric and the interior is fully lined with a solid cream lining. This is a simple bag for those who like to live "the simple life". It is fully functional for an every-day bag or even great for your items at the farmers market.

Here are a few other recently added to the shop from the same fabric.

Sew & Tell...

I Haven't posted a "Sew & Tell" in awhile,
so I had some catching up to do!
Here are some of the fabulous
new treasures that are NOW AVAILABLE

Before I split, I have just one more thing to share with you.
I went antiquing awhile back with my husband and
picked up another lovely vintage clutch. (See below
It's similar to the Vintage Jane Shilton
clutch that I posted about // sold last summer.
...& like that one, I think I'm going to have some difficulty parting with it.

This doesn't count as a "Sew & Tell" since there was
no sewing involved - on my part - but it is SEW worth sharing!

HAVE A GORGEOUS DAY!

Sew & Tell: Houston We Have A Problem!

It's been a little while since I've posted a "Sew & Tell".  That's because I've been busing sewing.  ...And - I must say, my infatuation with this sport is growing deeper and deeper with every little stitch!  So much that I couldn't pull myself away from Silvia to share all my new goodies!  ...But Houston help!  I keep making stuff that I love - and I dread the idea of letting go of these fabulous little treasures.  I'll cross that bridge when I have to, but I know that with this growing "Collection" - the time will have to come at some point to set it free.  Atleast I'll always have the photos as my memory of their existence.  ...And the hope that someone else out there will grow as attached as I am becoming!  Speaking of photos....here are a few of the newbies!

So there you have it - my confessional.  We're in the heart of March Madness - so there is a really strong chance that I'll get some sew-time in this weekend while my husband is planted on the couch watching basketball.  Gorgeous!

Sew & Tell - My Soap is Dope!

This is my soap dispenser before. Naked. I decided to pull some scrap fabric and make a cover for it.
I'm fully aware that this is slightly reminiscent of a child's kindergarten craft project - & I think that's why I like it.  As you know,....I think ordinary is boring.  So this little cover takes it from Bad to Rad.
My soap dispenser after.  Dressed to the 9's.

Accidental Accessory

Yes....this is another accident that I miraculously turned into something productive! I was trying to make a ruffle, but it ended up being too short. Before I scrapped it - to the trash, I thought what on earth can I do with it now? ...And voila! Here you have it, a pin-cushion for my wrist! I love it so much that I want to wear it as an accessory. That is kind of a joke - but not really.  Don't worry I won't leave the house with it on! I was pretty proud of myself so I shared it with my husband. He didn't understand my joy exactly - I said "they sell these things at craft stores. People buy these".  He said "I know".  Well, regardless of what he thinks...my cup is overflowing with pride - that's all that matters.  It's the little things. (He's a boy - he'll never understand this one!)

Gorgeous!
