 Did you hear the news?  The Gap got a new logo.  ...And it's not so great.  They posted it on their website yesterday and shortly after yanked it back off and replaced it with their original.  I think it's an absolute embarrassment to their name and their brand.  My husband calls it a publicity stunt.  Though he might be right, I think it's an ignorant move.

 Within minutes of hitting the web, it was criticized left and right from design firms, bloggers and mainstream publications.  That's understandable.  I'm a graphic designer and while I don't consider myself the best logo designer, I feel like a child could do better.  My personal opinion:...It's awful.  I hate it.  The font is overused and the overall design is just plain weak.
