My name is Jahnavi, an Indian living  in Dubai with my hubby.  I'm a management graduate by choice,  a photography enthusiast actually Photography-oholic.  I love taking pictures.  I use a Nikon D90 SLR and I edit my pictures using Adobe photoshop.  I enjoy travelling, reading, painting, drawing but mostly learning and trying new stuff.  I can never stop creating and imagining.  a beautiful feather is my way of sharing my interests: photography, fashion, design, arts, food, travel and the things that inspire me everyday.

My name is Tara and I am the one little lonely person operating Deer in a Bottle. Just joking - I'm not really lonely because I live with my dashingly handsome boyfriend (think Adam Scott mixed with Jude Law minus the nanny fetish). We live in Seattle on top of a big hill and yes, we enjoy coffee just as much as you probably assume Seattlites do. 

I love dogs, especially French Bulldogs, more than I love blogging, jewelry, and sometimes my boyfriend (only sometimes). I'm not too fond of cats. Please don't send me hate mail.  I'm Betsy.  I'm a recent college grad with too many interests to count and just a few ideas of where life is taking me.  Four years ago, I was a college freshman who had every intent of fulfilling her childhood dream of majoring in biology, going to med school, and becoming a pediatrician.   Somewhere along the road those dreams and intentions changed, and now I'm a grad student working towards my Masters in Multicultural Education and elementary certification.  My blog originally started as a way to share thoughts and goings-on with family back home in Pennsylvania while I was at school north of Boston.  Now, it's become this mash-up of photography, crafts, food, and fun, with a healthy dose of those original thoughts and goings-on.  I suppose it would be considered a lifestyle blog, if one were to categorize it.  When it comes down to it, though, I pretty much just write about growing up and the surprises, heartbreaks, and treasures I'm discovering along the way.
