 I went antiquing awhile back with my husband and

picked up another lovely vintage clutch. (See below) 

It's similar to the Vintage Jane Shilton 

clutch that I posted about // sold last summer. 

...& like that one, I think I'm going to have some difficulty parting with it.

This doesn't count as a "Sew & Tell" since there was 

no sewing involved - on my part - but it is SEW worth sharing!

Inspiration Workshop #14: Vintage

I'm participating in the Gussy Sews Inspiration Workshop!

The Prompt: Vintage

I always get excited when I get my hands on cool, vintage stuff.  I love old/retro items.  Though you may never get the opportunity to hear it, most old stuff has a story.  ...& There's a pretty good chance that your old collectibles weren't mass-produced over in China.  ...& that is a wonderful thing! 

Here are some of my personal favorite vintage pieces:

2. Ok, so this one is a stretch...but it represents Vintage wine, & who doesn't love vintage wine?

3. My Grandmother's Production Soldier war pin from WWII.
She was Rosie the Riviter!

Vintage Fab!

I stopped in an antique shop this weekend with my husband and found this fabulous vintage leather Jane Shilton clutch from across the pond! (That's right - England . . . Baby!)  It is GORGEOUS!  The leather is like BUTTER! In addition to the yummy, soft leather, it also has a beautiful simple, gold kiss clasp closure.  There is just something so fun about frame clutch purses.  I was stoked about this find...but I feel like giving someone else an opportunity to fall in love with it too!  It's now for sale at The Paisley Tab!  This is the first vintage piece to hit The Paisley Tab...but who knows,....it might not be the last!
