How to make Limoncello - Video 3

Here it is, the third and final video tutorial on making Limoncello....Finally!  This was taped early this spring, but I have been so busy and couldn't find time to edit it.  Forgive me, it's a little "raw".  ...Better late then never!

This little vintage sewing machine necklace just got added to The Paisley Tab today.  In case you were wandering, Yes, sewing machines were black - back in the day.  ...And in my opinion, much cooler looking than today's machines.

...And, since we're on the subject of vintage sewing machines, I thought I would reminisce a little bit about the cool shop I visited back in December during my trip to New York.  It is called Allsaints Spitalfield.  This store is in several European cities and now in 9 U.S. cities.  It is a really fun shopping experience and the merchandise is great.  All the store fronts and walls are covered in vintage sewing machines.  I was in Heaven!  Actually, it is pretty much the graveyard for old sewing machines.  I guess they all died and went to Allsaints Spitalfied.

Kissing January Goodbye...

I just saw this video on Free People's blog and it's beautiful! So, even though it's for their January Catalog...& we're just about to kiss January goodbye, I thought it was way too good to pass up. I just adore Free People and their comfortable, feminine, bohemian clothing. I cannot wait for their next catalog! They always have the best photography. This video really makes me want to go back to Paris. It is such an amazing city. Everything is so old and full of charm.  It just oozes with romance.   (The pastries are lovely too!)

Afro-tastic!

I found this video today... on lovemaegan.com and I'm dieing to try it.  I've always wanted to try an afro for a day...and this tutorial gives me all the instructions to do it.  I have naturally curly hair that I straighten everyday.  The problem is that my natural curls are lumpy and unattractive.  ... But if I could get the tight curl and overall poof without the chemicals of a perm...then bring it on!

 This is in Dutch....so allow me to translate.  It's a short, simple, storyline: Supermodel/Victoria's Secret Model, Doutzen Kroes arrives at her Grandmother's house to show her vacation pics. She runs to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee meanwhile Grandma flips through the photos. While admiring the pictures, Grandma gets this brilliant idea that her granddaughter, Doutzen should be a model....and Ta-Da....a model is born.
